[thread][Eyes of the Beholder][Temari & Ino]

It had been awhile.

Standing on a branch of a high tree, Temari surveyed Konoha from a bird's eye view, the crisp morning air moving around her. There were no apparent changes in the village's layout, except for what looked like a large space with colorful buildings and decorations, possibly for the festival to occur. It was what Temari was here for, to represent Suna and in hopes of establishing a good relationship with the Daimyo here. So of course, those old bastards in the Council decided to send in the best shinobi they had: one with curves and boobs to boot to persuade the Daimyo better.

Needless to say, Temari did not take it as a compliment and had almost ripped open her fan right then and there in the stuffy dark meeting room.

If it wasn't for the fact that Kankurou had gone AWOL and then decided to be a goddamn baby and stay home, Temari would have just stayed back in Suna and they would've sent Kankurou as the forerunner before Gaara's arrival. But things were done already, and Temari wanted to get of the country before she lost her temper with the Council.

Dropping to the ground, Temari found herself in front of the gigantic gates of Konoha, the same ones she had passed through so many times since her youth. Shifting her fan across her shoulders, Temari made her way to the gate, papers already in hand.

"Likewise. Sabaku no Temari," she responded, nodding in approval of his formality, her face changing into a mock copy of the one she always had on for delegation matters. Serious, but not so much that it would scare potential allies. Because despite the cruel unrelenting heat in Suna, there were always the rare rain showers that gave life to Suna's inhabitants.

The only thing she knew about the kid was that he shared a last name with Ino. "Cousin?" she asked Ino, her eyes falling on the familiar shade of blue in the eyes and the light prominent crown of blonde hair haloing his head.
